Ferris will get a new associate vice president for advertising

Large RAPIDS – Dave Murray will be part of Ferris State University as the new associate vice president for advertising and marketing and communications.

Kathy Mullins, Ferris vice president for progression and advertising, said Murray has a monitor record of accomplishment and will use his experiences and interactions to build on the university’s presently powerful internet marketing and communications attempts.

“Dave is passionate about larger training and sharing tales that inspire others to begin or restart an training that can change their lives,” Mullins claimed. “Ferris Point out College has a great tale to convey to. Dave will aid us inform it to an even broader audience, connecting with opportunity students and stakeholders.”

Murray, who commences at Ferris on Monday, July 17, has been Grand Rapids Community College’s communications director because 2018, overseeing a group that has acquired more than 50 regional and national awards.

At GRCC, Murray oversaw external and inside communications, media relations, social media, marketing and advertising, and content generation for digital and print communications. The portfolio mirrors the workforce he will be a part of at Ferris, which involves 10 total-time staff members and shut partnerships with marketing and communications specialists across the university technique.
