Mercer College‘s Promoting Communications Workplace has received a 2022 Circle of Excellence Award from the Council for Advancement and Aid of Education.
The College was honored with a silver award for its video clip “Mercer alumnus can make prosthetic for a puppy dog lacking a paw” in the promotional (extended) video classification.
The video clip showcased alumnus Chris Scrivner and his perform in prosthetics and orthotics, which bundled building a limb for a three-legged pet named Goose. The movie highlighted Scrivner’s participation in the Mercer On Mission Vietnam program, in which learners fit prosthetics and orthotics on amputees and kids with disabilities. Scrivner went to Vietnam two times with the program, and the trips solidified his selection to go after prosthetics and orthotics as a occupation.
